The audiovisual recordings placed in the apartment of the Kallanxhi family are part of the investigative file in the case of an 8-year-old girl from Korça who was sexually harassed by her father.
Only a few days were enough for the Korça prosecutor’s office to be able to provide evidence for the suspicions that had been raised about Jani Kallanxhiu, the girl’s father. A few days ago, the family had asked for financial support on the show Fiks Fare, but while the social worker of the municipality was dealing with the case precisely for the economic aspect of the family, she noticed suspicious behavior of the father and daughter and also the minor was interrogated in the presence of the psychologist where he told about the actions of the father further deepening the suspicions.
In such circumstances, the prosecution was requested to investigate the case, starting from the installation of sound and video cameras to the evidence. Footage of the girl touching the girl’s private parts is now part of the investigation file, while sources within the investigative group said that the girl was asked to have a forensic examination to see if she had had sexual intercourse with her before.
The girl was immediately sent to a social center for minors in the capital while her mother suffers from serious mental health problems.
