Representatives of the Independent Trade Union of Kosovo Correctional Service after meeting with the incumbent Prime Minister, Avdullah Hotin, suspended the protest, which began with requests for additional payment.
Frashër Racaj, vice president of the Correctional Services Union, said the government had promised to fulfill their demands and that allowances would be given to them in March.
We remind you that the representatives of the Independent Trade Union of the Correctional Service of Kosovo started the protest today, in front of the building of the Government of Kosovo, demanding the additions that they say they deserve.
The same said that the Correctional Service is in the front line of the fight against the pandemic and meets all the legal criteria for legal treatment for supplements under the Anti-COVID Law.
They said that the request for supplements has been sent to them since the entry into force of the Anti-COVID Law and that they have received promises that they will be treated the same as the Kosovo Police.
