The polling station in Rrogozhina prison may be the only one that achieves full voter turnout.
A member of the CEAZ told the journalist Geri Kolgega that so far 53 convicts have been sentenced from Rrogozhina prison.
“It is interesting that there is only one prisoner left, who once says he will vote, once says no, has not shared his mind. However, election materials and representatives will be there by 7:00 p.m.”.
If this citizen also votes, this polling station, which was opened at the request of the persons serving their sentences there, becomes the voting center that reaches 100% turnout.
Today, voting takes place in six municipalities of the country to elect new mayors, but throughout the day a low turnout was observed.
According to the Central Election Commission, until 15:00, it turns out that in total voted 24.66% of citizens who had the right to vote in these by-elections. In first place is Dibra with 35.13%, while second comes Vora with 31.89%. Then comes Lushnja with 28.67%, while in Rrogozhina 27%. Shkodra and Durres are still last, with 21.79% and 20.36% respectively.
