A convict has ended his life by hanging himself in Durrës prison.
The event was recorded at noon today, when the 44-year-old Roland Hasani hanged himself in the prison of Durrës, inside the cell where he was serving his sentence.
It is learned that 44-year-old Hasani was sentenced to 14 years in prison for murder. Sources from IEVP told Top Channel that he was in difficult psychological conditions and it is suspected that he suffered from mental health problems.
Immediately after the incident was discovered, Hasan was taken to the Durrës hospital with few signs of life, but he did not make it.
