The 56-year-old man who wounded himself with a firearm yesterday was arrested in flagrante delicto.
Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Commissariat no. 3 arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen A. Sh., 56 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses “Domestic Violence” and “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”.
This citizen was presented yesterday, at the Trauma Hospital, with injuries caused by the use of a firearm.
Investigative actions have shown that this citizen, yesterday, used violence against his wife and then tried to kill himself with the firearm he was carrying without permission.
As material evidence, a pistol firearm and a quantity of ammunition were seized.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
