A 44-year-old man with the initials BD has been arrested in flagrante delicto after helping four third-country nationals cross the border into Montenegro.
The detainee had taken a sum of four euros from four citizens to enable them to cross the border.
“Specialists of the Section for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking made the arrest in flagrante delicto of the citizen BD 44 years old, resident in the village of Vukël, Malësi e Madhe. Shkodra Border Police have ascertained that in the vehicle type “Range Rover”, driven by the citizen BD, there were four citizens from third countries, to whom this citizen had taken a quantity of euros in order to help them cross illegal border to Montenegro “, said the police.
The materials were forwarded to the Shkodra Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office for further action in relation to the case.
