The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha has become part of the homage that is being held in the Presidency in honor of former President Bujar Nishani.

Memories of Bujar Nishani are many and today he is no longer physically among us, but the truth is that spiritually he is alive, he is eternally alive in my memory and all those who had the great fortune to know him as a friend as a collaborator of the family ”said Berisha.
Tributes in honor of former President Bujar Nishani are being held this Wednesday at the Presidency.
The coffin was placed in the “Skanderbeg” hall, where family members are waiting for visits and homage from relatives, friends and benefactors of the former president. The homage will take place for two days in a row. On Thursday, June 2, in the time frame 10: 00-12: 00, homage will be paid according to the ceremonial and the protocol of the state.
The coffin of President Nishani will leave the Presidency at 12:00 to address the Sharra cemetery for the funeral ceremony.
Former President Bujar Nishani passed away at the age of 56. For more than a month he was transferred from the hospital “Shefqet Ndroqi” to a hospital in Germany for a more specialized treatment, but according to doctors there he fell into a coma.
Nishani was suffering from an autoimmune disease in the lungs and could not overcome the consequences that the Covid-19 virus left in the body.
