Borussia Dortmund coach Marco Rose has explained why Thorgan Hazard was not part of his squad in Sunday night’s clash with Union Berlin.
Hazard was not part of the Borussia Dortmund squad that beat Union Berlin 3-0 in the 22nd round of the Bundesliga.
Speaking after the match, Dortmund coach Marco Rose clarified that the Belgian was not left out due to injury.
“Yesterday I decided with the team of coaches which team we would play with. We decided on the boys, who left the best impression in training. “Hazard was not injured,” he said.
Hazard was part of the formation and left after 61 minutes, in the match they lost 2-5 to Bayer Leverkusen last week.
