A 28-year-old man identified with the initials EM, a resident of Fushë Krujë, has fallen into the hands of the Mat police.
He was declared wanted after the Court of First Instance sentenced Mat to 5 years in prison. During the operation conducted in August 2020, 3 other citizens were handcuffed for the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Production and sale of narcotics” committed in collaboration.
Following the police operation codenamed “Stojani”, to apprehend the fourth perpetrator declared wanted in the framework of this operation, based on information gathered on the police road about his location, the services of the Mat Police Station in cooperation with Fushë-Krujë Police services have organized the work and as a result, during the first hours of this morning, the 28-year-old was arrested.
He is charged with the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Production and sale of narcotics”, who in cooperation with 3 other citizens previously arrested were caught red-handed working on a plot of land who had planted narcotic plants.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
