A Greek girl from Thessaloniki has reported to the police the nightmare experienced according to her by a 28-year-old Albanian for two years in a row.
According to the testimony published by Protothema.gr, it all started from the acquaintance they had on the social network Facebook. The Albanian promised to hire him in a cafe he had in Kolonos, but locked him in a basement and forced him to work as a prostitute.
The girl indicated that she refused to work, but he “kicked” her with kicks and punches all over her body, and even according to her, she used thick chains that were used for cars. She even points out that the brothel staff did not allow her to work at first because of the marks on her body.
“When I told him I did not want to do this job, he started hitting me with rage all over my body. With kicks, punches and slaps he hit me very badly and left marks all over my body. Because I could not stand the wood anymore, I told him I was going to work and only then did he stop beating me. When I went to work and took off my clothes, they saw me with marks and I was shocked. The tutor called the Albanian and told him that he could not hire me as I was… “.
How did the girl from Thessaloniki meet the Albanian?
In the summer of 2020, the life of the 28-year-old girl would change forever. As stated in the file: “In the summer of 2020, through the social networking application” Facebook “, he met the 28-year-old Albanian, who was introduced as the owner of a cafe in the area of Kolonos. At his urging, the 28-year-old girl accepted his offer to work as a waitress in his shop. At the end of the shift, the Albanian, taking advantage of her inability to resist, probably due to alcohol consumption, took her to an apartment on the fifth floor on Paphos Street in Athens.
He imprisoned him and “pulled him out of the wood”
And then the nightmare began. According to the investigation file, “the next day the girl woke up naked and the Albanian hit her and took her phone. He later told her he would be employed at a brothel on Iasonos Street in Athens. In order to curb the denial of the victim, the above accused used physical violence against her, hitting her with fists and kicks all over her body “.
The Greek could not work from the signs
The girl had taken so much ‘dr’u that even in the brothel they were shocked by the extreme degree of abuse. She was not allowed to work due to the multiple wounds she had on her body from the beatings. The Albanian then took her to a brothel on the ground floor of the same address, where the victim was taken by an employee of the brothel where she worked. From that time until March 2022, the victim worked daily, in two shifts in a row, first in the aforementioned brothel and then in brothels on Megalou Alexandrou Street. According to her, the Albanian together with two other unknown men ran at least four brothels located at the above addresses, kept all the income from prostitution, thus extracting an illegal property benefit from the user. Further, in order to bring the victim under full control, during his stay with her, he used physical violence against her several times, first in an apartment on Paphos Street and then in an apartment on Kyprion Agoniston Street in Chaidar, Attica. In the first apartment, the Albanian had placed an unknown woman, whom he had also forced.
Greece escaped from the “claws” of the Albanians
In March 2022, the girl managed to save the Albanian and turned to the Organized Crime Prosecutor’s Office to escape. The investigation showed that the Albanian lives on “Kyprion Agoniston” street in Chaidar, Attica, and that he uses a white Mercedes car for transportation. He is also suspected of awaiting sentencing by the United Piraeus Court of Appeals, which sentenced him to 10 years in prison for attempted murder. At noon on 18.04.2022 it was decided to carry out a police operation, to bring the persons involved and to conduct a search of two brothels on Megalou Alexandrou Street to identify potential victims of human trafficking.
He was arrested and in his possession was found and seized a mobile phone, a false identity card of an expatriate, with attached photos and various identities, as well as the amount of 420 euros.
Part of the girl’s testimony
When the girl met the Albanian in the summer of 2020, the tutor had apparently “searched” for his candidate. As the girl says about their acquaintance, “He spoke Greek well, a little slang, but well,” she says, and in the following lines describes the “black” day of acquaintance that would indelibly mark her life. “He even asked me to wear a dress and heels and told me that he would send a taxi to pick us up. Finally after a while a taxi came, paid by him and took us to his shop. His shop was in Kolonos, it was a hookah. We sat in the store and talked about the work and the money he would give me. He told me that he would give me 30 euros a day plus “tips”. I accepted and started working that night. As soon as I finished work he brought a bottle of whiskey. After drinking a lot I got dizzy and did not feel well. “All I remember is that I got in a black car.”
