A 25-year-old man was detained by the Border Police of Durrës, as he was performing dangerous maneuvers with a “Jet ski” in the prohibited area for watercraft on the beach.
During the inspection, it was found that the driver, citizen ET, 25 years old, resident of Durrës, did not have documents for the boat. The Border Police blocked the boat and punished the citizen ET with an administrative measure in the amount of 10,000 new lek.
During this week, in the entire coastal area, frequent controls were carried out for the vessels and for the implementation of the obligations not to sail in the areas protected by buoys.
As a result of the controls, from Ksamil to Velipoja, 31 watercraft, mainly “Jet skis” and speedboats, were verified for the documentation they must have, as well as to inform their drivers of the sanctions, in case of violation of security perimeter of vacationers.
