The fuel was on the other side of the road and the 27-year-old entered the other lane despite the uninterrupted line stopping such a maneuver. Before the court, the 27-year-old stated that the accident happened due to negligence as he did not notice the engine.
The tragic accident happened at noon on May 6, when Waldemar Makowska, 45, and Marta Makowska, 42, were traveling on their motorcycle to Shkodra to discover the northern Alps, but suffered a serious accident on the border between Shkodra and Lezha.
They collided with a Golf 5 vehicle driven by a 27-year-old from Puka. The collision was fatal for the Polish couple, finding death on the spot, as footage shows the collision has been so strong that engine parts have been scattered across the road.
