Mr. Bajram Begaj meets the conditions provided in Article 86 of the Constitution as:
1. He is an Albanian citizen by birth and it turns out that he has never renounced his Albanian citizenship;
2. He was born in Rrogozhina, on 20.03.1967, fulfilling the age criterion defined in the constitutional provision;
3. Has had a permanent residence in the territory of the Republic of Albania during the last 10 years;
11. In legal terms, Mr. Bajram Begaj has no legal obstacles to be a candidate for President, as he is not in any of the prohibition cases provided in Law no. 138/2015 “On guaranteeing the integrity of persons elected, appointed or exercising public functions”, as amended, and Law no. 45/2015 “On the right to Information on the Former Security Documents of the State of the People’s Socialist Republic of Albania”, as amended.
iii. Mr. Bajram Begaj enjoys a prominent reputation in society as a personality with high ethical-moral and professional integrity and represents all the values to be a representative of the unity of the people and to exercise impartially the role of head of state.
For the above and considering that
i. the candidate we propose for President meets all constitutional and legal criteria;
ii. reflects all the values to be the Head of State and representative of the interest and unity of the people as well as of the public good;
iii. possesses all capacities to exercise the powers of the President of the Republic of Albania,
