The owner of Tesla said that if his offer to buy Twitter is successful, he will cancel the suspension of former US President Donald Trump from this social network.
The richest man in the world agreed to a $ 44 billion offer with the Twitter board last month. But he said the deal is not over yet and that ideally the deal would be finalized in the next two to three months.
Twitter’s decision to block the former US president is “morally wrong and absolutely stupid,” Musk told the Financial Times Summit “The Future of the Car.”
In January 2021, Twitter said former President Donald Trump’s account had been “permanently suspended… because of the risk of further escalation of violence” following riots in which protesters attacked US government buildings in Washington.
