The former deputy chairman of the Democratic Party, who has already resigned, MP Grida Duma, has again shown firmness in her attitude towards the mayor Lulzim Basha.
Speaking about the situation created in the DP after the March 6 elections, the Duma has repeated Basha’s resignation, and even according to her he has a deadline until tomorrow.
Grida Duma said that the DP should not be reduced to a third force. Those who caused the damage, she said, should resign.
“The solidarity of the people who have cooperated with Basha or anyone should not be misused to reduce the DP. If there is a reason why we stayed in the bloc to demand Basha’s resignation, it is only the DP.
Deputies have left him until the next day to take steps back as he also asked for some time. There is no other way but to retreat. There is a strategy on how the PD can be saved. “Establishment of a commission by the deputies of the Parliamentary Group and those of the Foltore who should lead the united PD towards the elections”, said Grida Duma.
