Two C-130 aircraft have been launched and are flying towards Poland, sending the second amount of weapons, part of the Greek aid package for Ukraine.
The planes departed from the military base of Elefsina, while it is learned that Greek military trucks are sending to the base of Elefsina another consignment of weapons which will be sent soon to Ukraine.
The news is made public by the Greek Ministry of Defense, which announced on Monday evening that the second consignment consists of AK-47 automatic weapons, ammunition, anti-tank and grenade launchers, as well as high-tech interconnection equipment.
The amount of weapons and details of the cargo being sent to the Ukrainian forces are not given at the moment.
The day before, Greece launched another similar shipment to Ukraine, while Russia, through its embassy in Athens, threatened official Aathina with revenge.
