The partial lifting of measures related to the coronavirus pandemic, including restrictions on places of entertainment, school trips and sporting events, will take effect on February 19th in Greece.
Greek Health Minister Thanos Plevris stressed that “the committee of health experts at the request of the government decided to lift some restrictions” and that “remote work will be limited to 20% of public and private sector staff.”
Plevris said the committee will also discuss specific requirements. Details on lifting the aforementioned restrictions will be detailed in a government ministerial decision expected by the end of the week, while the measures will take effect next Saturday.
Some European countries have already eased anti-Covid measures, while the focus is on vaccinating the population.
