Greek authorities have declared wanted two Albanians and 6 Greek citizens, who are suspected of killing 18-year-old Alqi Kombani on February 1 in Thessaloniki.
The incident was reported to have occurred after a clash between fans of the two Greek teams. Top Channel has also provided the photo of one of the accused. This is Rogers Demirazi, the 20-year-old that the Greek police has declared wanted, as part of the group of hooligans who raped to death 18-year-old Alqi Kombani.
He was identified by fingerprints after being found on several sticks at the scene. Greek police say Demirasi was able to leave for Albania on February 2, 24 hours after the murder of the 18-year-old and crossed the Kapshtica border crossing.
Greek authorities say the 20-year-old has been prosecuted before for a similar act that took place in 2019. The Thessaloniki prosecutor’s office said these people are accused of creating a criminal organization.
Greek police say they have found evidence that the group is controlled by fan leaders at major Greek sports clubs. A 23-year-old Albanian was also arrested for the murder of the 18-year-old. Meanwhile, the Greek public opinion is shocked by the extreme violence that was exercised against Alqi Kobani.
