Germany is sending ‘Tornado’ fighter jets and a naval patrol aircraft to a reconnaissance mission in the Baltic Sea area, Germany’s NATO mission has said.
A Defense Ministry spokeswoman in Berlin said she could not immediately provide any details due to operational security concerns, Reuters news agency reports.
Earlier in the day, the German navy sent six additional warships, four of them to the Baltic Sea.
