At least three people are believed to have died from a gas explosion in the kitchen of an office building in China.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a government office complex in the city of Chongqing.
About 20 people are believed to be trapped in the rubble of the collapsed building after the blast occurred while employees were having lunch, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
Videos and photos from the scene show debris scattered on the road as rescue teams were digging in the rubble to reach the stranded.
The Chinese Ministry of Emergency Situations had sent a task force to the scene, along with dozens of fire engines that were assisting in the rescue efforts.
Authorities said they would keep the public informed of developments.
