The price of oil is currently one euro and 33 cents per liter, while that of gasoline goes to 1.35. Compared to the end of January, prices have risen by 4 to 5 cents per liter.
However, at some gas stations in Pristina, prices are significantly lower.
According to the president of the Kosovo Oilmen Association, these are prices set by generations, but which are high for the country.
“The prices that are in Kosovo are also in international markets. “Prices are high everywhere, but for the standard that our citizens have, they are expensive”, said Fadil Berjani, President of the Association of Oilmen.
Berjani says that the rise in prices seems to continue.
“Throughout the week, prices have risen every day, within 24 hours from 25 to 30 dollars per ton”, Berjani.
“The increases are very large, here needles grow without growing there”, said the citizen Hamdi Kryeziu.
“Looking at the economic conditions that we, the citizens of Kosovo, have regarding the way of life, the price is very high”, said the citizen Granit Oska.
Currently in Kosovo oil prices start from 1.23 to 1.35 cents. While gasoline from 1.25 to 1.36.
