More than 10,000 civilians have been killed in Mariupol by Russian attacks.
“More than 10,000 civilians have died in the Russian siege of Mariupol,” said Vadym Boychenko, the city’s mayor.
Speaking by telephone to the Associated Press, Mayor Vadym Boychenko said the bodies were “carpeted in the city streets” and that the death toll could be more than 20,000, according to sky news.
He added that Russian forces brought mobile burning equipment to the city to dispose of the bodies and accused them of refusing to allow humanitarian convoys to enter in an attempt to cover up the massacre.
Russian forces have withdrawn from several Ukrainian cities leaving fatal consequences, while the number of casualties is increasing every day.
