INSTAT estimates that compared to May 2021, this indicator results in an increase of 77.5%. In May 2022, the number of foreign nationals who entered the Albanian territory is 604,430. Compared to the same period a year ago, this number has increased by 83.9%.
During the first five months of 2022, from the countries that have the highest inflows of citizens in Albania, Greece has had the largest increase by 5.6 times, while Kosovo has had the lowest increase by 9.5%, compared to the same period of 2021
Also, the departures of Albanian and foreign citizens from the territory of Albania, during May 2022, are 1,121,298, marking an increase of 72.2%, compared to the same period a year ago.
