France included the US in the “red list” for covid-19. Thus, unvaccinated U.S. citizens entering the country must be quarantined for ten days.
Restrictions will not change for fully vaccinated travelers coming to France from the US, as they will need to have a negative test before boarding their flight.
This development puts the US on the same list of countries as Russia, Afghanistan, Belarus and Serbia.
The daily number of daily infections in the United States from the Omicron variant has exceeded 300,000 cases.
France is also battling a record number of new infections with 200,000 daily cases in the last four days.
