At least four people have died after a boat with dozens of migrants sank in the north-west of the island of Crete in Greece, the coast guard announced.
About 90 other people managed to get ashore, a Coast Guard spokesman told the DPA news agency on Friday.

On Wednesday, three migrants were drowned when another boat sank in the Aegean Sea off the island of Folegandros.
Dozens of people who were aboard that boat have not yet been found.
Accidents occur as migrants try to reach Greek or Italian territory from the Turkish Aegean coast.
According to authorities, about 11,000 people have arrived in Italy in recent months, while there are no official figures on how many people have died.
