Fiks journalists meet the director of the center, Mrs. Elida Grabova. She admits that the situation is the same and difficult even after an investment by UNDP worth 240 million old for the reconstruction of the center.
The director claims for Fiks that with the launch of the reconstruction project, they have been relocated for almost a year to the premises of a garden, but when they returned in September, the center within 1 week revealed problems with humidity, installations or doors. As a result, they refused to accept it. Regarding the beds, the center had made a tender for the purchase, but the company had brought them of poor quality, according to the director, since at the beginning of the tender the details were not well defined.
“Details such as the thickness of the board or its quality, taking into account that the children do not have normal behavior and the beds are broken and these were not clearly defined in the tender,” said the director.
She admits guilt in this process being justified by the fact that they did not know the criteria they had to determine.
Ms. Grabova refuses to have residents sleeping on the ground, but who according to her want to lower the mattress in the square.
Fiks journalists turn to the municipality for answers where they call the director of services. He tells reporters that he is not aware of this issue, despite the fact that he has been the director for 5 months.
