The government has decided to postpone the forgiveness of fines until June, as part of fiscalization.
Top Channel reported a few days ago that out of 120 thousand businesses that need to be taxed by the end of December, only half of them around 60 766 businesses have been fully taxed according to Tax data.
For experts, the process is proceeding at a slow pace and businesses are facing many problems even though the process has started a year ago, as many of them are reluctant to be taxed as the electronic certificate at NAIS has received only 92.6 thousand businesses in total so far.
The deadline for not imposing fiscalization penalties expires on December 31, 2021, but experts explain that an extension is needed to give more time to entities, something that according to them is also being considered by Finance.
