Finland will close its airspace to Russian aircraft – joining European countries that have already done so.
Finland “is preparing to close the airspace for Russian air traffic”, said on Twitter the Finnish Minister of Transport, Timo Harakka, Telegrafi reports.
Finland shares about 800 miles of border with Russia. Other countries, such as Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Germany and Poland, have already blocked their airspace for Russian flights.
