Fiks Fare / Qualified teacher remains out of work, scoring files out of time

She is a teacher by profession and taught the subject “Language and Literature” at the vocational school “Stiliano Bandilli” shortly before losing her job.

Mrs. Toska tells Fiks reporters that the school principal did the scoring outside any legal deadline by penalizing her. Parallel movement as a teacher appointed to this school could not make nor leave the system.

The delay came as a result of not evaluating the files in a timely manner. According to Mrs. Toska has been the director’s malice towards her that has brought this situation.

Fiks journalists meet the head of the Federation of Education and Science Union for the Berat Region. She says the violation of the law by the school principal is the reason the teacher lost her job.

The division of teaching hours is not done according to the law, so there is a need for a teacher to leave. The file was assessed in violation of legal deadlines and the teacher lost the possibility of parallel movement. Also another point of the violated law is the termination of the employment contract without the approval of the federation.

Fix reporters go to the school directorate. The principal says that the number of students has been reduced and a literature teacher had to be fired. The files were evaluated by the commission and Nertila Toska resulted with less points. Journalists ask why the assessment was made out of time?

The director admits that the assessment was made outside the time limits in violation of the law. But it is justified by saying that even if it was done within the time limits, the Education Office would not hire him!

Meanwhile, according to the law, if a teacher is fired from a school, her file goes to ZVA. The teacher is then transferred to another school as she has the proper appointment and qualification.
