Following the initial decisions adopted by the FIFA Council and the UEFA Executive Committee, which provided for the adoption of additional measures, FIFA and UEFA have decided today that all Russian teams, whether national representative or club teams, will be suspended from participating in both.
These decisions were approved today by the Bureau of the FIFA Council and the UEFA Executive Committee, respectively the highest decision-making bodies of both institutions on such urgent issues.
Football is fully united here and in full solidarity with all the affected people in Ukraine.
The two presidents hope that the situation in Ukraine will improve significantly and rapidly, so that football is once again a vector for unity and peace between people.
