For 12 days, bone remains were excavated near the mine in Staval, near Sijenica, Serbia.
This Wednesday, the works were stopped because no skeletal remains were found in the two locations near the mine, as it was suspected of the Albanians who disappeared during the war in Kosovo.
The search teams found it impossible to continue the excavation because Serbian institutions did not provide additional information.
Now that the atmospheric conditions are favorable for excavation, Kosovo institutions have to wait for information from Serbia or even satellite images from the internationals in order to have convincing arguments to continue working.
The Government Commission on Missing Persons has accused Serbia of non-cooperation in the case of the missing.
Another 1617 people are missing from the last war.
