The Municipality officially opens the summer season on May 12, but the vacationers did not wait for this date to visit Vlora, they have filled the accommodation structures full this weekend, due to the competitive prices.
Despite the war situation in Ukraine or the unfavorable weather conditions, the loyal tourists of the south are Kosovo Albanians.
For them, Vlora is a destination that has been visited before, but the pleasure they find in this city makes them return.
It is still early to have an influx of foreign tourists, but according to the chairman of the southern tour operators Vasil Bedini, there is hope for a good tourist season with the removal of restrictions from Covid-19.
