Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said 4,354 people had been evacuated today from areas where fighting continued, including Mariupol.
She said 556 people had been evacuated from Mariupol and 3,298 others from other cities in southern Ukraine, including Melitopol and Berdiansk, in which Russian forces continue their attacks.
There were also evacuated from the Donbas area, where in recent days there have been continuous attacks and the focus of the Russian army is already there.
Evacuations of civilians have always encountered problems, as humanitarian corridor agreements have not been implemented.
Despite the danger, the Ukrainians have decided to leave their country until the situation improves, while leaving everything behind.
