Protective masks will no longer have to be worn at airports and on flights within EU countries.
According to the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the new recommendations will enter into force on 16 May.
“From next week, face masks will no longer need to be mandatory on air travel in all cases, broadly adapting to the changing demands of national authorities across Europe for public transport.”said in a statement EASA Executive Director Patrick Ky.
