German Minister for Europe Anna Luhrmann did not give a definite answer whether Albania should be separated from Northern Macedonia to continue the EU membership process.
He told a news conference that he had received positive signals from Bulgaria and that this would help move the integration process forward.
“Since taking office in my talks in Brussels, I have discussed this issue to move forward in launching talks with Northern Macedonia and Albania, next month we will discuss it in the forums in Brussels, and in it in the near future we will move forward in this direction.
“It is important for us to walk this path as soon as possible in the start of negotiations for Albania and Northern Macedonia, we have received positive signals from Bulgaria to find in a moment as close as possible to a more appropriate solution.” tha Luhrmann.
