Since February, the citizens of Kosovo pay their electricity bills for about 30% more expensively.
However, these bills are expected to become more expensive during the winter months.
The Office of the Energy Regulator says that there is currently a stable supply, but a further increase in electricity tariffs is not excluded.
After a meeting that the parliamentary group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo had with the ERO, they said that they oppose this increase in prices.
The increase in the price of electricity has also been opposed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo, who are expected to send to the Constitutional Court the decision of the Supreme Court that gives the right to the Office of the Energy Regulator in the February decision to increase tariffs.
Currently in Kosovo, citizens who exceed the expenditure block of 800 kw per hour per month pay 12.5 cents in the high tariff, while the lowest 5.9 cents
