Since February 9, energy billing has started with increased tariffs.
Citizens who spend less than 800kWh per month will not be affected by the increase. Meanwhile, those who cross the bloc will pay up to 30% more, after subsidizing by the government.
A citizen of Kosovo who has spent over 1200kWh per month of energy has paid 68 euros, with the new tariff will pay up to 88 euros.
This increase in electricity bills was opposed by the opposition parties during the extraordinary session that through a resolution tried to repeal the decision.

The new tariffs will apply until March 31, 2023.
