MP Lulzim Basha has reacted regarding the US decision to impose harsh economic sanctions on former MP Aqif Rakipi and businessman Ylli Ndroqi.
“Aqif Rakipi is one of the mechanisms of the election massacre, he has bought votes on behalf of Edi Rama, are people who by buying votes have alienated the will of Albanians. Today Edi Rama feels alone. We are determined to return parliament to the people.“said Basha.
Based on Basha’s statement, Top Channel journalist Elda Menga asked him: How will you return the parliament to the people when you are not at the head of the DP?
“I did not speak only for myself, the battle is not only mine, we have been in this battle for over 8 years. I speak on behalf of all Albanians. “It has been trampled by a handful of people who have snatched votes, have snatched the parliament, the government decision-making, today Albania is in the tail in taking measures to cope with the situation”, tha Basha.
On the issue of whether Basha is negotiating with the government, he said bluntly that it is not real information.
Recall that this Monday, the US has imposed harsh economic sanctions on former Socialist MP Aqif Rakipi and businessman Ylli Ndroqi. In the letter made public by the US Treasury Department, they are accused of involvement in criminal activities.
