An elderly man has been trapped in his home after the 6 Richter earthquake that shook Greece this morning.
According to Greek media, the elderly man has been trapped after his house in Mesochori, Elassona collapsed. Thankfully the elderly man was able to escape after the intervention of firefighters.
Landslides have been reported on the Larissa-Elassona National Road.
The quake was at a local depth of 10 km, while it was felt for a few seconds by citizens, who came out terrified in the open. The tremor was also felt in Athens and other parts of Western Greece, the duration of the earthquake was quite long.
So far there is no data on damage to people or material damage from the strong earthquake that was also felt in our country. Meanwhile, after this earthquake, there have been other tremors.
