On 19.07.2022, at around 11:00 p.m., the employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was arrested in the act as a police officer at IEVP Kukës, because at around 3:00 p.m., while entering the institution after the exercise of control by his colleagues, he was found on the left leg under the sock of 1 (one) package with the inscription “Malboro” wrapped with transparent glue (natriban), where inside it were 20 (twenty) doses of suspected narcotics (marijuana), weighing 16.65 gr. The first actions were carried out and the materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Kuka, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” according to article 283 of the Criminal Code and “Introduction and possession of prohibited items in the IEVP” according to article 324/a of the Criminal Code.
Investigative actions continue for employees and other citizens involved in this activity.
