Two brothers were arrested by the police in Përmet, while their father was prosecuted, after they were caught with 1.4 kg of cannabis, weapons and bullets.
According to the notification made by the police, it is learned that the police operation codenamed “BROTHERS” has been successfully finalized, as a result of which the citizens F. Zh., 39 years old and A. Zh., 36 years old (brothers) resident in the village of Bodar, Përmet, and the citizen Ll. Zh., 69 years old (their father).
During the control exercised in an environment used by these citizens, in the place called “Vinja”, village Bënjë, Përmet, were found 1.4 kg of suspected narcotic substance cannabis sattiva, a firearm and a quantity of bullets.
The material narcotics, the suspected firearm, the firearms and 2 mobile phones were seized as material evidence.
The materials in charge of the above citizens were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Përmet, for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Illegal possession of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition.”
