Lulzim Basha, in the face of Sali Berisha’s attempt to remove the leadership of the Democratic Party, is not playing the role of a spectator.
Following the dismissal of National Council Chairman Edi Paloka, several secretaries and chairmen of Berisha’s supporting branches were sued by the SPAK.
There are 5 former officials charged for using the stamp and symbols of the Democratic Party in the National Assembly, organized by former President Berisha last weekend.
According to the DP, the defendants are MPs Belind Këlliçi, Edmond Spaho, Albana Vokshi, as well as Ivi Kaso together with Ervin Minarolli.
In this lawsuit, PD says that the criminal offenses of “Forgery of stamps, seals or forms” committed in collaboration have been consumed.
The report addressed to SPAK underlines the fact that these are persons who have held functions in the DP, are aware of the rules of the statute, and have committed the criminal offense of using the seal and symbols to achieve their goals, despite being aware of legal consequences.
DP explains that it has filed the report in SPAK, because 3 of the defendants are members of the Albanian Parliament.
