The Democratic Party has notified the Tirana police in writing about the protest that will be held tomorrow in the capital.
According to the DP, the protest march starts from the blue headquarters at 19:00 and ends in front of the prime minister’s office at 21:00.
Sali Berisha announced the July 7 protest a few weeks ago, as a reaction against the government and the increase in the prices of basket products and fuel.
At a time when the Democratic Party continues to be divided, this protest is also an individual challenge for Berisha himself, who seeks to confirm his position at the head of the largest opposition party in the country.
