Ukrainian Minister Mykhailo Fedorov has not stood idly by as his country is engulfed in ongoing bombing by Russian attacks.
From his underground shelter in a secret location in Kiev, as the BBC reports, Fedorov is waging a digital war against Russia, using his favorite weapon, social media.
According to the BBC, Fedorov has asked the chief executives of big businesses to cut ties with Moscow and has undertaken the unprecedented move to create a voluntary “Ukrainian IT Army” to launch cyber attacks against it.
He further sent an official letter to the world’s largest technology companies urging them to boycott their operations in Russia. Among them we mention: Apple, Google, Meta, Twitter, YouTube, Microsoft, Sony, Oracle, etc. Fedorov then posts his letters on social media so the world can see them, plus some of the answers.
Meanwhile, today, the Russian Ministry of Defense said it would stop shooting on Monday, to allow civilians to leave their homes in the Ukrainian cities of Kiev, Kharkiv, Sumy and Mariupol.
