The transfer of Vedat Muriqi to Belgium fails. The Dardan striker has undergone medical tests with Club Brugge and the first results of the physical tests left much to be desired.
Vedat Muriqi was expected to become the most expensive purchase in the history of Club Brugge, as around 11 million euros would go to Lazio’s coffers.
The striker was transferred in 2020 to Italy, after a wonderful season developed in Turkey with Fenerbahce, but with Lazio Muriqi showed nothing.
In January 2022, the Kosovar went on loan to Spain, where he helped Mallorca stay in La Liga. Muriqi showed good form, making 16 appearances in the Spanish league and also assisted with five goals.
