Democratic Party candidate for Dibra Municipality, Luan Haka on Saturday in a statement to reporters after the vote, said that the time has come for Dibra to have a mayor who is not headed by Tirana, ministers or former government ministers.
In his speech, Haka stressed that in some polling stations there are no lights, while residents of some villages are forced to walk for miles to vote.
He stressed that some violations were found before the elections and in relation to them a denunciation was made to the SPAK.
“I just voted. I gave a vote for myself, for Dibra and the people of Dibra. I think that the time has come for Dibra to have a mayor, not one headed by Tirana, ministers or former ministers. Open your eyes to us that there is no way to get to the polling station. If the expenses had gone to the people, they would be different today. Victory for the DP. Polling stations have no lights. It is just a polling station and residents of other villages walk miles to vote. I believe that the violations were ascertained before the elections. We have reported to SPAK“, Declared Haka.
This municipality has 567 80 voters who will choose between 4 candidates. Rahim Spahiu from SP, Premtim Kryemadhi of the House of Freedom, Dritan Torba from LRE and Luan Haka from PD.
