The government rejected the accusations that the document with the salaries of 630 thousand citizens has been issued by the Ministry of Finance.
Government spokesman Endri Fuga clarified that the database that is circulating illegally has data different from official documents.
“Preliminary analyzes clearly show that there has been no digital export of the payroll database for the period January – April 2021 in the fields of the document issued. The document has a different number from the declared persons and is a combination of several different pieces. Also the official digital database of available data does not contain the field “Full Name” as read in this illegal document. The National Agency for Information Society has closed for about a month the terms of reference for the open international audit procedure for the purpose of certification with ISO standards of the tax information system, which will be officially announced in the coming weeks.
The Ministry of Finance is preparing the report for the prosecution body, for its clarification of the criminal interference in the personal data of the citizens.
