“The situation seems calm, but in fact it is not. We have patients with Covid. They come with clinical signs of Covid, even though the tampon is negative “says family doctor Brunilda Shiroka.
Rapid test, which is mostly used to confirm if a patient is affected by Covid 19, fails to catch new mutations such as BA2, which is recently circulating in our country.
Vaccination with the fourth dose of Covid has already started in Albania. Although the interest to be vaccinated has decreased, the doctor explains that this age group over 60 are the most interested.
“It is the second strengthening dose. We have started with sporadic cases and are identifying, but these are the most interested because they saw the benefits of the vaccine“, Says the doctor.
