Ministry of Health: 2387 tests, 279 infected citizens, 2 loss of life and 483 cured in the last 24 hours
The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to citizens who have passed 6 months from the second dose of vaccine, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
The Ministry of Health reminds the citizens that the observance of anti-covid protocols is a necessity for the protection of health.
Mask placement is mandatory in any enclosed environment. Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 2387 tests were performed, of which 279 citizens tested positive for COVID19, in the following municipalities:
86 in Tirana, 25 in Saranda, 16 in Fier, 14 in Lushnje, 12 in Gjirokastra, out of 10 citizens in Berat, Vlora, 7 in Saranda, out of 6 citizens in Durres, Elbasan, out of 5 citizens in Mirdita, Gramsh, out of 4 citizens in Prrenjas, Peqin, Kuçovë, from 3 citizens in Vau i Dejës, Kamëz, Vora, Kavaja, Patos, Divjakë, Mallakastër, Memaliaj, Devoll, Dimal, Skrapar, from 2 citizens in Cerrik, Poliçan, Libohovë, Delvinë, Himara, Selenica, Roskovec, Kruja, Kurbin, Has, Kukës, Malësi e Madhe, by 1 citizen in Tropoja, Lezha, Rrogozhina, Dropull, Përmet, Tepelena, Korca, Belsh.
There are 3763 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 73 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 13 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are two loss of life with SARS-COV2 positive: a citizen from Berat 64 years old, a citizen from Durrës 75 years old.
483 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 263,518 since the beginning of the epidemic.
