Health authorities in Italy have reported that in the last 24 hours, 18,916 people have been registered with COVID-19, while 280 deaths from the dangerous virus have been recorded.

The most affected region is that of Lombardy with 4,191 infected and is followed by the region of Emilia-Romagna and Campania.
